Exhibition: Jenny Mellings ‘Recapture’

The work of Jenny Mellings investigates ways in which visual imagery and other stimuli (particularly through the virtual world of the internet) relate to the direct, or phenomenological experience of life. A reassessment of the age-old correspondence between internal and external states of being is explored through painting, drawing, stop-motion animation and other media. Selection and processing of fragmentary images from multiple sources is therefore an ongoing process.
